Qur'an-Hifz Program
It's every Muslim's dream to memorize the Qur'an. However, with school and other obligations, the idea often seems daunting. Knowing this, Arete International School is proud to announce the start of the Qur'an Hifz Program. The program is structured in a way where students will be required to memorize 2 to 5 juz with tajweed each school year, depending on their level. The program is tailored seamlessly into their schedule so the students do not miss any of their core academic subjects, nor is there additional time allotted during the school day or afterward. Instead, the program is part of their normal Qur'an period.

This is a specially designed routine of learning Quran recitation and memorization, designed by a team of experts in the field of Quran, who have combined their educational and teaching experience; and have come up with a routine that achieves four basic principles in Quran learning based on the ability of human memory and its development.
Memorizing
We believe that every human has the ability to memorize and train his memory to certain level and go on improving this level by continuous practice and repetition. Our specialization is that we help a student begin based on his own ability and slowly develop his capacity to memorize and learn more with time.
Short-term Review
Here the objective is to move the Quran that has been saved in the short term memory to the long term memory through the most effective methods. This is done by constantly repeating what has been memorized in the previous lessons.
Long-term Review
In this, we train the student to maintain the Quran that has been saved in the long term memory by constantly repeating major parts of it, on a daily basis. This practice is successful even with the most weakest memory, by the will of Allah.
Enhancing Recitation Skills
Here the objective is to improve and maintain the proper recitation of Quran which forms the basis of proper memorization and understanding. Here we train the student in their reciting skills, performance, proper breathing while reading and reciting and other skills that improves a student’s ability to recite Quran in the best way.
وَلَقَدْ يَسَّرْنَا الْقُرْآنَ لِلذِّكْرِ فَهَلْ مِن مُّدَّكِرٍ
And We have certainly made the Qur'an easy for remembrance, so is there any who will remember? Surah Al-Qamar : Ayat 40
